GRAND FORKS — A plea deal may be in the works for a Grand Forks murder suspect.

Cazmere Haskins, 18, was due in court on Thursday, Oct. 17, for a hearing.

However, his attorney requested the hearing be pushed back to allow Haskins to consider a resolution in the case.

He's accused of stabbing 24-year-old Anfernee Economy to death during a brawl in the parking lot of an apartment complex behind the south side walmart.

Haskins is due back in court in November.
