NORTH CANTON, Ohio — North Canton police say a forklift that was allegedly stolen from a Wendy's construction site in the 200 block of Applegrove Street NW was used to steal an ATM from the Fifth Third Bank in the 1600 block of North Main Street.
Police say they were alerted to the situation shortly after 4 a.m. Tuesday, according to details shared by the department on their Facebook page.
When officers arrived at the scene, they reportedly found the forklift abandoned behind the bank along with debris from the ATM.
Police say the value of the ATM and its contents are unknown.
The incident remains under investigation.
