Human rights activist Brinda Adige has raised concerns about women not being getting safe spaces to speak about their problems. Her remark came hours after 56-year-old Manoj Sahani was arrested for killing his live-in partner and chopping her body into 20 pieces at his rented apartment in Mumbai's Mira Road. Adige said women become more vulnerable when their partners or spouses commit such crimes or subject them to violence. She also said that police officials should be more vigilant to avoid such crimes.
